Black Prof Ponders Kicking Begging White Boy In The Face

Let me introduce you to State University of New York professor Nicholas Powers, whose research interests include feminist theory, African American aesthetics, and Marxism.

Nicholas recently wrote an article, which has since been deleted, for a publication that is — legit, I’m not joking — the publication is called RaceBaitr, according to Campus Reform. His article was called “Seeing poor white people makes me happy” and begins with the professor seeing a homeless white boy and wondering “Should I kick him in the face? Hard? No, chill, he’s not worth it. But why is this white boy begging for money in a Black neighborhood? Is he stupid?”

OK. There are a few things wrong with that part: 1) why is it an issue if whites are begging in a primarily black neighborhood? Aren’t progressives supposed to be against segregation? And 2), more importantly, why is a college professor fantasizing about beating up a kid?

Nicholas continues, saying “White people begging us for food feels like justice. It feels like Afro-Futurism after America falls. It feels like a Black Nationalist wet dream. It has the feels I rarely feel, a hunger for historical vengeance satisfied so well I rub my belly.”

Now you know that here on Campus Unmasked, we’re huge fans of free speech. But it’s not really free if it’s not equal and I’m pretty sure a white professor who said this about a black kid would get the pink slip. Then, of course, there’s also the concern that Nicholas’s biases translate into how he grades kiddos of different races. I know I wouldn’t feel too comfy in that classroom!
