On the night of the State of the Union address, Princeton professor Keeanga-Yamahtta Taylor said “Abolish ICE,” as well as “Trump, the cynical racist president who hides behind African American suffering through the criminal justice system, to bear [sic] his teeth at immigrants and argue for his wall of white supremacy.”

“Wall of white supremacy.” How long have we had to put up with this disingenuous attempt to frame the wall as a racial issue instead of a legal vs. illegal immigration one? And if you think abolishing ICE sounds just a wee bit radical, remember that Keeanga is the same professor who previously said “no human is illegal. Open the border. Let them all in.”

There’s another pretty tired trope: that calling someone an illegal alien somehow equals stripping them of their humanity. You know, Keeanga probably whines a lot about illusory white privilege, but the one privilege she definitely has is class privilege. Something tells me those illegals Keeanga so desperately wants to let into the country — which, with an open border, would cease to be a country at all — something tells me those people aren’t going to be competing for jobs with the Princeton professor.

But they might be competing to be Keeanga’s maid, a Princeton custodian who cleans her office, etc., which means the professor or her institution will get to save a few bucks replacing an American worker with an immigrant who’s used to a lower standard of living. Progressives aren’t just embracing open border policies to virtue-signal or exercise some deranged anti-white hatred. No, it’s also in their financial interest to push these views. Boy have I become woke reading Tucker Carlson’s Ship of Fools.

The Tigertones, a Princeton University a cappella group, perform “Kiss the Girl,” a song from The Little Mermaid, reported Campus Reform.

But not everyone’s a fan. Princeton student Noa Wollstein wrote an op-ed in the student paper calling the song “misogynistic.” Noa says that “even when gently crooned by an animated crab, the song…is more misogynistic and dismissive of consent than cute.”

She notes that a sea-witch had cursed Ariel, taking her voice away and making the mermaid unable to give verbal consent. But if you’ve seen the scene from The Little Mermaid, you’ll remember that Ariel’s expressions make her feelings pretty obvious.

Leaning in for a kiss, looking dejected when Eric backs out, giving a big ol’ goofy smile, and grabbing his hand, that doesn’t exactly look like sexual assault, folks.

But what does Noa want? Well, when the Princeton Tigertones sing “Kiss the Girl,” they pick a male and female audience member to act out the parts of Ariel and Eric. This means that they’re persuaded to kiss at the end of the song.

The student columnist says she’s seen many female students not happy with the practice and she asked the Tigertones to stop singing the song. The a cappella group complied, but here’s the thing: who’s responsible here? Peer pressure’s really annoying, don’t get me wrong, but if students at an Ivy League institution can’t even cope with that, I’m a bit worried about our next generation of leaders.

Wow, um, that’s pretty…radical. And don’t you get tired of that little word game? “You can’t use that term because human beings can’t be illegal.” You can’t really expect me to believe that you believe that I’m calling their humanity illegal.

Taylor’s remark, of course, was shared by George Ciccariello-Maher, the “all I want for Christmas is white genocide” ex-professor who’s also said that the Las Vegas massacre “is what happens when” white people “don’t get what they want.”

Back to the Princeton professor…after Trump said that he asked Secretary of State Pompeo to look into the farm seizures and murders of South African farmers, Taylor tweeted “Trump 101: turning lemons into white supremacy.”

Yeahhh I’m not too sure how ensuring that white farmers have basic rights to property and their own lives translates into white supremacy. But maybe I need to brush up on my social justice lingo. I tried reaching out to Taylor for comment by email and phone, but got no response. I’m sure she’s fully capable of defending her well-articulated arguments and was simply swamped with creating facile left-wing agitprop.
