A Virginia court found University of Nebraska-Lincoln professor Patricia Hill guilty of splashing fake blood on NRA lobbyist Chris Cox’s house in January, reported The Daily Caller. For this temper tantrum you might expect from a child, the professor must fork up a thousand dollars and has to keep a 500-foot distance from the NRA guy’s house.
Cox’s lawyer Elizabeth Locke said “We are pleased that today Ms. Hill was criminally convicted of vandalism for her January attack on the Cox’s home, that she was charged with a second count of vandalism for an attack on the Cox family home in October 2017, and that a restraining order was entered against her….We look forward [to] a second conviction for Ms. Hill at her next criminal trial.”
It’s good to see someone from the ivory tower brought to justice, even if in this case, it was probably only because Patricia was stupid enough to vandalize someone whose house had several security cameras. But even when they do have evidence, like the viral video recordings of disruptions at Josh Blackman’s speech to law students at CUNY last month and Christina Hoff Sommers’ speech to Lewis & Clark law students in March, administrators still seem to prefer shoving issues under the rug to standing up to these intolerant, incoherent, and let’s be honest, often ugly brats.

Same thing goes for the right when Turning Point USA dresses up in diapers to make fun of campus safe spaces. It’s just humiliating, alright?
And Hill’s not the only professor making a fool out of herself. Her UNL colleague English professor Amanda Gailey also protested at Cox’s house and while SHE didn’t do anything illegal, let’s take a look at those Rate My Professor reviews. Only 20% would take her classes again and students say “what a circle jerk….Can’t shut up about her own causes,” “just puke up what she says and nod like you agree,” and “so threatened by opposing ideas she kicks students out of her class.”
Now a university spokeswoman said that Gailey was displaying her own views on her own time, that the actions of Hill, who has her trial May 21st, are subject to police review, and that “the university has nothing to do with these events”…except it does because I’m PRETTY sure these ladies’ students don’t exactly have an unbiased curriculum.
